- Leupold is one of the best names in scope manufacturing. The proof is seen here, with this 5-25x scope that includes a 56 mm objective lens. Such a lens is great for using a 6.5 Creedmoor at as far a range as you can since it’ll collect more light and improve resolution and color quality for your sight picture.
- First, the Vortex Optics Diamondback is the best spotting scope under 500 dollars because it offers XR full multi-coated lenses. It also has a retractable sunshade built right in. The scope is sealed with o-rings and nitrogen purged, so it is waterproof and fogproof. The whole scope is clad in rubber armor, too, making it durable.
A good scope will give you an uncluttered and easy to use the reticle, be well-made, provide enough magnification to see your target and be clear throughout the day. We’ve picked some scopes we think are awesome options for your Tikka T3 Lite.
These are our recommendations for the 4 best scopes for Tikka T3 Lite on the market:
I use a Bushnell Red Dot on my K22.at about $70, it is just right for me. BUT, with the severe recoil of the guns in the 460-500 class, you would definitely need something more substantial. I really don't have a clue, but would suggest a top quality unit. It will probably be in the $500- $600 range. You get what you pay for. Best 7mm Rem Mag Scopes of 2020 – For The Money, Plus More! For example, at 500 yards, the 7mm Rem has a 29.14 inches drop, which is one of the flattest trajectories of centerfire loads. Similarly, the round has a muzzle velocity of 3200 fps, which only drops to 2264fps at 500 yards, plus a muzzle energy of 3250 ft-lbs drops.
Leupold VX-3i Scope
The Leupold VX-3i is a very dynamic and modern scope that incorporates some awesome features to give your Tikka T3 Lite an excellent long range scope. The magnification levels are 4.5-14 with a 40mm objective lens. That large range of magnification allows you to shoot at under 100 yards with ease as well as reach out and touch a target with a heavy .300 Winchester Magnum without much trouble. The 40mm objective lens does allow you to keep the scope quite low which is excellent for accuracy and precision.
The Leupold VX-3i (see full specs) has tons of different options for reticles. My favorite is the Boone & Crockett reticle. It gives you quick and easy to use elevation compensation points as well as windage holds. It’s also a simple and uncluttered reticle that allows you to get on target quick and easy. The Tikka T3 Lite is an outstanding hunting rifle and this scope with the Boone & Crockett reticle is a perfect hunting combination.
The VX-3i has precision made turrets that allow for ¼ MOA adjustments. These are fingertip adjustable turrets. The lenses are coated with Leupold’s own Diamond coat 2 io-assist lens coating. This gives you a higher level of light transmission and a high level of abrasion resistance. The VX-3i could be an expensive optic (but prices do fluctuate) but it’s an outstanding one as well. The Leupold brand has an awesome reputation and it’s well deserved.

Bushnell Trophy XLT Rifle Scope
If you don’t want or need to spend Leupold money on an optic you still have plenty of choices. For example, the Bushnell Trophy is an excellent moderate range optic at a great price tag. Bushnell is on the cheaper end, but it’s backed by an overall outstanding warranty. The Bushnell Trophy XLT riflescope comes in 2-7x and 3-9x. The 3-9x is likely the more versatile option and does give you a hair more magnification at the cost of a little more length and weight. The Bushnell Trophy Rifle Scope has a fast focus eyepiece which gets you on target quickly and cleanly.
The Trophy comes with the Multi-X reticle which is very similar to the Leupold Boone and Crockett reticle. It offers an uncluttered view and drop and windage adjustments. The Trophy Rifle Scope gives you fingertip adjustable turrets with ¼ MOA adjustments. This makes it easy to sight in and gives you outstanding precision.
On the Tikka T3 Lite you get a powerful and capable optic that excels for hunting deer and other similar medium game. The Bushnell Trophy optic is an affordable alternative for a hunting or target shooting scope. It’s well suited for most calibers, but admittedly, you won’t get the long-range performance the Leupold offers. However, out to 500 yards, you are going to be plenty capable of hitting your target. For the money, this Bushnell is among the best scopes for Tikka T3 Lite rifles period.

Nikon Pro Staff 5 Scope
The Nikon ProStaff 5 is Nikon’s latest entry into the ProStaff line. As an optic in its fifth generation, it has become very refined and well finished. The ProStaff 5 is perfect for the Tikka T3 Lite because they are both accessible to a variety of calibers. The T3 Lite comes in a ton of different calibers, and regardless of which one you choose, the ProStaff 5 has you covered. The ProStaff 5 is optimized to be used for use with Nikon’s Spot On Ballistic Match technology. This is a software app Nikon provides and you can match your bullet with its predicted drop.
This all coordinates with Nikon’s patented BDC reticle. That BDC reticle uses my personal favorite markers for quick and easy shooting. They are see-through ballistic circles that allow you to compensate for elevation while still seeing your target. The Nikon ProStaff 5 provides excellent clarity and this is due to the use of high-quality glass as well as fully multicoated optics for light transmission and an awesome level of brightness.
The Nikon ProStaff 5 is an awesome optic that is fairly priced and perfect for hunting. This optic performs well in low light conditions as well as the middle of the day. The ProStaff 5 will serve you and your rifle well. This is one of the best scopes for Tikka T3 Lite around.

The Vortex brand is a massive one that makes everything from affordable red dots to extremely high-end binoculars and spotting scopes to a wide variety of variable scopes. The Vortex Diamondback is their mid-tier optic. It’s a cost-effective optic that delivers an excellent level of performance for the price. The Diamondback comes in a few magnification levels and 4-12x40 is a great choice for the Tikka T3 Lite in most calibers. The Diamondback also has a 40mm objective lens that gives you nice low profile mount.
The Vortex Diamondback (see full specs) has the VMR-1 MOA reticle that gives you an awesome amount of compensation markings for both windage and bullet drop. These hash marks make wind calls and bullet drop compensation simple. The Diamondback also comes with an outstanding set of lenses. The extra-low dispersion glass is fully multicoated with XR coatings.
The Vortex Diamondback is also a well-made optic that is shock-, fog-, and waterproof. The scope wears responsive dialing, exposed tactical turrets that make dialing in quick and simple.
